Cotton asks very little. Dust with a soft brush or a vacuum on low suction, and spot-clean marks with cool water and a cloth. Keep the piece out of direct sun if you want the ecru to stay ecru. Anything washable goes in cold — 86 °F or below — and dries flat, never in a dryer. Fringe can be combed straight with your fingers.

Heavier pieces, and anything holding a plant, belong on a stud or a proper wall anchor — the weight tells you which. Plant hangers are measured from the top ring to the bottom of the tassel.
